Be Wiser Business Delegation Comes to Cork from 24th to 26th of May 2016.
The European Commission aims to help European businesses access foreign markets and find new business partners abroad. Going international increases SMEs’ performance, enhances competitiveness, and reinforces sustainable growth. In this context the Be Wiser project is delighted to support connections between partner countries through the EuroTech Connect trade mission to Cork from the 24th to 26th of May 2016.
The purpose of this trade mission is to strengthen existing business relationships between Be Wiser partner clusters members through active face-to-face connections using ‘Be Wiser Connect’ and facilitated through the ‘Business Roaming Agreement’ and the FP7 Funded Be Wiser project.
A three day programme has been developed for the visiting firms (To access programme click here):
• Tuesday 24th – the visiting firms will have an orientation to Cork, Ireland and a site visit to Site Visit to EMC – Center of Excellence (CoE) in Ovens.
• Wednesday 25th – the visiting firms will participate in the it@cork DealBroker event, and site visit to Tyco’s Irish HQ – Ireland’s smartest building, One Albert Quay.
• Thursday the 26th – networking breakfast hosted by Cork Institute of Technology with keynote address from Denis Kennelly, IBM Security – to allow the visiting firms network with ICT firms and researcher centres from Cork. Followed by Be Wiser Connect facilitated matchmaking with Irish SMEs and MNCs. Site visit to DePuy & Janssen @ Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
