PWC produced a very interesting Global Economic Crime report, and one contender is quickly outpacing old types of economic crime, having quickly risen in the second place. Cyber Crime is now the 2nd most reported economic crime affecting 32% of organisations.
It is affecting both developed and emerging markets and, sadly, company detection methods are not keeping pace nor are most organizations well prepared to handle such crimes.
