The processing of data in the ‘cloud’ repeatedly raises security concerns.
The processing of data in the cloud keeps recurrently and often legitimately security concerns. ‘Privacy & Security by Design’ could make the difference. Cloud solutions can be implemented with a high level of security and data protection. We will demonstrate how this works in our upcoming KA-IT-Si-Event with two examples from a successful research project. The focus is on the idea and application of a “security by design” framework supporting encrypted and distributed storage of data and context-sensitive access rules. The application of “PaaSword” allows developers to reduce the risks of theft, unauthorized access or intentional manipulation of data.
The host is the Karlsruhe “House of Living Labs” of the Research Center Computer Science.
