inno was founded in 1991 in Karlsruhe, Germany’s most research-intensive region and home of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From the start, inno has worked internationally in the field of assisting and partnering in processes which turn knowledge into value. inno supports municipalities, regions and researchers in defining and implementing strategies to develop their economic competitiveness and innovation success.
inno partners with public and private institutions in stimulating and fostering the foundation and growth of knowledge-based businesses. inno is a member of CyberForum and a partner of SPR. inno has offices in Karlsruhe, Rostock, Leipzig, Berlin, Sophia Antipolis and Stockholm, and employs about 60 staff members. inno will mobilise resources from its German and French offices. inno is already a partner in previous RoK projects, undertakes FP7 ICT research projects on behalf of cluster industrial partners and is experienced in working in such project environments and is responsible for managing EU networks such as the European Cluster Alliance.
